The focus of this exhibition is the diversity of local mineral resources, their origin and creation. It brings us closer to the geological raw materials on our doorstep and provides insights into their everyday and ubiquitous use. But how do we deal with them? And will we soon run out of raw materials?

German Romantic Museum
The museum, which opened in Frankfurt am Main in September 2021, is the first exhibition house in the world to be dedicated to the era of German-speaking Romanticism as a whole. Unique originals are presented with innovative exhibition formats that make the Romantic period a tangible experience as a key era. Under the artistic direction of "Sounds of Silence" (Petra Eichler and Susanne Kessler) and in collaboration with Jörg Gimmler, the exhibition architecture, furnishings and object design for the approximately 760 square meter permanent exhibition were developed within three years and the realization was supervised.
Bees and Co. – the bee story
Special exhibition for the international garden fair spoga+gafa.
Conception, editing, design and planning of an exhibition on the sustainability topic "Bees and Co."
The project developed by LEISE Design provided information about the different types of bees, why they are so important to humans, what threatens them and how you can help bees in your own garden and on your balcony.
Fascination Color

We often take colors like the blue of the sky or the green of the meadows for granted. We forget that we are constantly surrounded by an almost unlimited variety of colors. But what is it that we call color and how is it created? Do all people see the same colors? What is metamerism and what is the history of the color indigo?
In eight themed areas with many interactive exhibits, the Carl Bosch Museum's Public Science Project shows the complexity of the phenomenon of color.

What is sustainability?
Exhibition of sustainable materials for the garden market.
Special exhibition for the international garden trade fair spoga+gafa 2015 in Cologne. In an architecture designed and realized by Leise Design from temporarily used garden wood and printed cardboard honeycomb panels, infographics and innovative material and application examples showed important aspects of the social, economic and ecological context for the garden market.

From old wood wallpaper to leather tiles, the exhibition project "Look Alike" in July 2014 showed a selection of the latest surface developments in the form of a material contest, which gave visitors the difficult choice of which imitation was able to imitate its model most impressively.

Exhibition for the 16th Tour of the HfG Offenbach
Together with Prof. Petra Kellner, Knut Völzke once again led the seminar "Color II" in the main course of the product design department, which this year dealt with the topic of "pigment." An exhibition was developed for the tour in July 2013 that presented the topic in a spatial installation that was both visually and haptically comprehensible.

Display boards to visualize the occurrence and use of materials for electronic devices
In addition to complex plastic compounds, glass and metals such as copper and nickel, electronic devices contain around 10% rare metals such as platinum, gold and rare earths. Their occurrence is limited to a few locations worldwide, but without them our digitalized world would not function.

Exhibition project for the garden fair «spoga+gafa» in September 2012 in Cologne. From thermally treated wood to bio-composite materials, the exhibition showed innovative, sustainable materials in the context of their ecological circular properties.
Interaction of Colors
Color light installation for the 15th Tour of the HfG Offenbach
Together with Prof. Petra Kellner and the students of the “Color II” seminar at the Offenbach University of Art and Design, Knut Völzke developed a spatial situation for the tour in July 2012 that used targeted color light sequences to make the interaction of colors perceptible to humans tangible in an impressive way.

Traveling exhibition for the German Design Council with stops in Milan, New York and Hong Kong.
An exhibition design that, through the interplay of striking, spatial and architectural elements, creates a visual complexity and density that has the power to combine a wide variety of product worlds, from candle holders to vehicle studies, into an exciting overall show.



Structures In Exhibition
As a representative of Prof. Peter Eckart (Integrative Design), Knut Völzke supervised the design and implementation project “Structures In Exhibition” at the University of Art and Design in Offenbach am Main in the winter semester of 2010/2011.
For the appearance of the Product Design Department on
the international furniture fair in Cologne, the students developed a spatial structure that
which reflects the multifaceted subject areas and work of the HfG Product Design.
Architectural Elements
Stylepark at Light+Building, Messe Frankfurt 2010
A trade fair appearance as a "walk-in website". The two-dimensional world of the well-known online platform became a three-dimensional, graphic course that invited visitors to linger and stroll through to discover the company's expanded range of products.

Kraft Maschinen – Insights and Outlooks
Conception and design of a company museum for the Kraft Group with headquarters in Rietberg, Westphalia.
In its almost 200-year history, the current group of companies has developed from a wagon-building forge to one of the leading providers in the field of special machine construction. The rooms of the old forge, which have been built over several times in its history, were chosen as the location for the museum.

Traveling exhibition for the German Design Council with stops in Milan and New York.
The exhibition design plays with the system character that is so characteristic of German design and translates it into a new, exciting and vibrantly colored architectural landscape that opens up unexpected viewpoints and perspectives.
Out of the Box
Stylepark at «Designers' Saturday 2008»
A design event in an unusual location: in the production halls of the home textiles manufacturer Création Baumann in Langenthal, in the Swiss canton of Bern.
Leise Design took the special spatial context into account and developed an installation consisting of around 800 cardboard boxes with color-coded information elements for the presentation of Stylepark AG.

Museum of Applied Arts Frankfurt 2007
Conception, design and realization of the exhibition for the 175th anniversary of the Offenbach am Main University of Art and Design.
Museum presentation of selected works by 59 graduates, out of a total of 3000 alumni from the years 1970 to 2007 in the fields of design, media and art.

Inside: Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin
Media installation on the content work of the Süddeutsche Zeitung magazine, which was awarded the “Lead Award”.
For the event “The Design Annual 2007” in Frankfurt am Main, the LEISE design studio developed an exhibition project in which a projection surface in the form of an oversized, upright SZ magazine reflected the visual language and processes of the magazine’s editorial work.



40 Private Objects Identified
Stylepark in Residence, Kölnischer Kunstverein 2007
Design of an exhibition for 40 personal identification objects by contemporary designers, architects, artists and publicists who were selected and invited by the design and architecture platform «Stylepark».
The exhibits were housed in a nine-meter-long, open-topped “box” that rose up the steps of the art association and from which labeled position flags protruded, providing information about the objects on display.
Frankfurt / Tokyo / Frankfurt
From August 26 to 28, 2005, Leise Design together with Spezial Produktgestaltung presented the installation "Frankfurt / Tokio / Frankfurt" as part of the event "fresch - Design in the Park", a travel and experience report of their joint stay in Japan in June 2005.
As part of the "Germany in Japan Year", Leise and Spezial were invited to exhibit as "German Talents" in the German Pavilion at the "Interior Lifestyle" trade fair. The exhibition offered the opportunity to report on their experiences in Japan.
Dust – Mirror of the Environment

Dust is omnipresent and yet extraordinary. The smaller the particles, the more they defy gravity. Dust often has a variety of positive and critical properties.
Against the background of the discussion about fine dust and nanoscale materials, the exhibition aims to provide information about the environmental factor dust in an understandable and entertaining way.
