The successful trade fair format for the first time in Vienna: In November 2024, “ Paper Positions Vienna ” took place as a new event in the Kursalon in Vienna’s 1st district in the heart of Vienna.

As with all "Positions" trade fairs, LEISE Design was also responsible for the spatial planning for the new location in Vienna. A characteristic feature of this trade fair format is the translation of the idea of an art salon into an approachable and exciting trade fair experience. The form of the exhibition architecture creates the atmosphere of a group exhibition, where visitors have the opportunity to perceive the artistic positions in dialogue.

After its successful premiere, “Paper Positions Vienna” will take place again in November 2025.

Paper Positions Berlin 2024

The eighth edition of the art fair " Paper Positions Berlin " took place from April 25 to April 28, 2024. The more than 150 positions of contemporary and modern art in this fair format all have one thing in common: they focus on drawing and the material paper.

LEISE Design has been responsible for planning the exhibition architecture and furnishings since the fair began in 2017. The structure, designed as a salon exhibition, offers space for the positions and creates transitions. The result speaks for itself. We are looking forward to the next fair!

As part of the new conception of the trade fair, LEISE Design was commissioned to design the exhibition architecture as well as the catering and lounge areas of Art Karlsruhe and to supervise the implementation.

The design lines of goldsmith and qualified designer Franziska Rappold are based on simple basic shapes, which are combined into concise and elegant pieces of jewelry through rows or three-dimensional arrangement.

The guiding principle is that the hand-made jewellery should be easy to wear and versatile. The same requirement served us when developing the concept for a long-lasting, mobile

and modular exhibition stand.
