Design Plus 2014

After Leise Design emerged as the winner of the invited competition to design the exhibition “Design Plus 2014”, the selected concept was realized for the “Ambiente” trade fair in February 2014.

The core of the design was to use the available exhibition space as an open area and to turn the massive supporting pillar, which could be perceived as disruptive, into its opposite and make it a design element with a long-distance effect. The result was a division into a quiet zone with seating and an active zone in which the 30 award-winning products were presented on a large, continuous podium.

The exhibition architecture consisted of cellulose-based materials that could be recycled into paper after the end of the fair.

Leise design team: Knut Völzke, Hans Hess, Yamila Sauer

Tear-off pads with product sheets were attached to the fronts of the presentation areas and were very popular.
