holiday apartment «Urban Design 2»

Conversion and furnishing of the second commercial holiday apartment in Urbanstraße in Freiburg im Breisgau.

The design concept of the completely renovated apartment is characterized by furniture specially designed for the interior and expansive color tones that were coordinated with the use of the different rooms.

A cloakroom and a small kitchen are centrally located. They are unmissable due to their intense warm red color, which not only covers the kitchen furniture, but is also continued in the same color on the walls and doors.

Around the kitchen there is a shower room in fresh green and white, the bedroom in a combination of blue and grey tones and a room with a small balcony decorated in lilac and sand colours.

In all rooms, the colors are not limited to the walls, but are continued in the same color, sometimes as a contrasting color on the furniture and fabrics. An apartment as a colorful vacation experience.

The "balcony room" is equipped with a sofa bed and a desk. Depending on the residents' wishes, the room can be used as a second bedroom or as a retreat for reading and writing.

In the shower room, space was also created for a washing machine in a small space. It is located in a built-in cupboard that continues the white color of the wall tiles.

In the living room, the colors of the other rooms are used as accents and are largely reflected in the sand and mocha colors of the walls, furniture and lights.

The bedroom is designed in a combination of blue and grey tones, which have been precisely coordinated for the different surfaces and thus extend consistently across the walls, doors and furniture.
